Furano is situated in Hokkaido’s beautiful Daisetsu-zan National Park. The ski resort with over 950 vertical meters of skiing is one of Japan’s biggest and most famous resorts.
A wide expanse of lifts lifts gives skiers and boarders access to a huge variety of terrain offering something for every level of skier: expert courses, long fast runs, fantastic tree skiing and long wide, easy cruising runs for beginners.

Furano regularly holds World Cup events with the mens downhill being the mountain’s specialty. Furano also offers an array of alpine alternatives, dog sled rides, snowmobiling, 4WD motor bikes, back country and alpine tours, para-sailing behind a snowmobile and visiting the huge Buddha at Ashibetsu.
