Getting to Revelstoke.

The gateway to Revelstoke is flying into Kelowna International Airport (YLW) and then driving or taking a shuttle via the Trans-Canada Highway.

From New Zealand, fly via Vancouver, Los Angeles or Las Vegas for the most direct routes.

Words from our Ski Travel Specialist Abi: I was lucky enough to visit Revelstoke a couple of winters ago, and it’s one of those destinations that really delivers on every level. I stayed slopeside at Sutton Place, and it was hands down one of the best ski-in/ski-out properties I’ve experienced. The rooms were modern, spacious, and comfortable, and having everything right at the base of the mountain made the whole trip so easy. After long days on the slopes, I made good use of the pools and hot tubs and even treated myself to a spa treatment (which my legs were very grateful for!).

As an advanced skier, the terrain was exactly what I was looking for. Revelstoke is famous for its steep, challenging runs, deep snow, and incredible vertical, and it certainly lived up to the hype. That said, when I felt like taking it easy, there were plenty of wide-open groomers with some of the best mountain views I’ve seen at a resort. It really stood out to me was how picturesque the whole destination is. From the incredible views at the top of the mountain to the character-filled historic town below, Revelstoke has a genuine mountain-town feel that makes you want to come back.
