BIG WHITE SKI RESORT

They don’t call it Big White for nothing. This is one of Canada’s largest totally ski-in, ski-out resort village located in the heart of British Columbia’s interior and it has everything you would expect from a world class ski/snowboard resort. This resort is blessed with ideal ski and snowboard conditions, receiving on average more than 750 cm of snow every season.

There’s more to the attraction, as there won’t be a budget or “lifestyle” that can’t be accommodated here with 100% ski-in, ski-out accommodation. The variety is impressive with 4 village hotels, 25 condo/town home complexes. 244 vacation homes and luxury cabins, and 1 ski-in-ski-out youth hostel.

Plenty else to do: The on mountain experience is complimented by 23 restaurants, cafes and delis, ski shops, grocery and retail shopping, an award winning Ski and Board School and complimentary mountain tours. Weekly special events include welcome receptions, movie nights, wii nights, bonfires with hot chocolate, night-skiing, torchlight parades, and fireworks.

Bring the kids, Big White is extremely family friendly and entertainment during the day and evening is close to all accommodations. The Big White Kids Centre lets you enjoy the resort to the fullest while they have fun on their own learning to ski or ride.

Children’s Services: Big White has an awesome Kids Centre conveniently located in the village. Day care is available from 18 months to 5 years and they have a great Kid’s Club for ages 4 to 12 offering half day and full day lessons. Nightly activities, including dinner and supervision are also available allowing parents a “night on the town”.

Activities: Try the Big White Tube Park, the largest mountain tube park in North America. Snowshoeing: take a tour or rent your shoes to explore the trails yourself. Snowmobiling: Guided snowmobile tours available throughout the day. Dog Sled Tours: Open your eyes to the beauty of Big White’s pristine back country; this is an experience like no other! Sleigh Rides: A traditional Canadian Sleigh Ride aboard on an old fashioned horse drawn sleigh. Skating: Why not rent some skates and test your skills on the fantastic outdoor ponds?
