Hakuba and Nozawa Onsen are two of Japan’s most renowned ski destinations, famous for their incredible powder snow, varied terrain and lively villages.

Begin the journey in the vibrant capital of Japan, Tokyo! Whether you want to soak in the neon-lit streets, explore historic temples or experience the city’s buzzing atmosphere, Tokyo is the perfect place to set the tone for the trip.

Next, head to Nozawa Onsen, one of Japan’s most historic and beloved ski resorts. Nozawa Onsen offers 31km of marked runs, 21 lifts, mixing suitable terrain for all skill levels. Enjoy its famous powder snow and long runs. When off the slopes, soak in the town’s various natural hot springs and experience the lively scene in this charming, traditional village.

The tour’s grand finale takes place in Hakuba, one of Japan’s premier ski destinations. Set in the Japanese Alps, Hakuba Valley offers access to 10 ski resorts with an impressive variety of terrain, from wide-open groomers to deep powder bowls and tree skiing. Having hosted events during the 1998 Winter Olympics, the area is renowned for its world-class facilities and incredible snowfall.
