NAEBA

Located in Japan’s Niigata Prefecture, Naeba Ski Resort is one of the country’s most popular ski destinations, offering easy access from Tokyo, just a few hours by train. The resort features a wide variety of runs suitable for all levels and connects to nearby Kagura Ski Resort via the “Dragondola,” Japan’s longest gondola, creating a large, linked ski area with diverse terrain. Kagura itself comprises three sections: Kagura, Tashiro, and Mitsumata.

Naeba also offers a full range of resort facilities, including ski-in, ski-out accommodation, restaurants, hot springs, and evening entertainment. There’s a nearby town that adds local character to Naeba and offers more options for evening dining. With consistent snowfall from December to early April, it’s a convenient and reliable choice for both families and experienced skiers looking for a well-rounded ski experience.
