Big Sky Resort is located in Montana, surrounded by the great beauty of the Yellowstone Region. There are groomers and untouched trails around every bend on the 5,850 acres of skiable terrain. There are 2,300 acres of beginner and intermediate terrain. In addition to this large selection of beginner slopes, there are also challenges for advanced skiers. For the experts, some of the world’s toughest in-bounds terrain is accessible by lift at Big Sky. Snowfall in Big Sky is consistent throughout the winter, requiring only a few inches to refresh the slopes.
A comfortable and efficient skiing experience is enhanced by impressive and advanced lift technology. From Ramcharger 8’s heated seats and weatherproof bubbles to Swift Current 6’s unprecedented speed as the fastest chairlift in North America, there is no wasting time at Big Sky.
Big Sky Resort’s Mountain Village is the resort’s centre for dining, shopping, and lodging. There are 19 dining and apres options to choose from after a big day on the slopes. You are not short of choice. Not far from Mountain Village is Madison Base. A small family-oriented base located right next to lessons, rentals, Moonlight Mercantile, and Headwaters Grille.
A relaxing trip to the Solace Spa can help you recover from the soreness of your limbs after skiing many runs, due to the fast chairlifts. They offer treatments, facials, and massages. After your relaxing and rejuvenating massage, you can hit the shops for top-quality sportswear, souvenirs, and equipment, to set yourself up for the next day on the mountain.
